Singapore comes alive every 9 August as the nation celebrates its independence with parades, cultural performances and festivities across the city. In 2026, the celebrations carry added significance as the National Day Parade returns to the former National Stadium in Kallang, marking 50 years since it first took place at the iconic venue.
Highlights include the Presidential Gun Salute, aerial displays and a spectacular fireworks finale over the Kallang Basin.
