To mark our first anniversary as Paradox Sydney, we wanted to create something more immersive than a traditional campaign — an experience guests could see, taste and move through during their stay. That idea became Head in the Clouds.
Inspired by dreaming boldly, the concept transformed our heritage address in Sydney CBD into a playful world of floating clouds and unexpected details. Installations appeared throughout the lobby and The Fax Bar, creating a striking contrast with the building’s historic character, while a dedicated photo opportunity invited guests and visitors to step into the experience themselves.
Rather than keeping the celebration to one space, we shaped it as a journey throughout the hotel. A limited number of Business Class Rooms were reimagined with soft textures, white florals and cloud-inspired touches, extending the experience into the privacy ofeach stay.
Bringing the theme to the table
Our culinary team also brought Head in the Clouds into a series of celebratory dining moments. At the centre was the limited-edition Cloud High Tea at The Fax Bar, featuring whimsical pastries, refined savouries and freshly baked white chocolate scones, accompanied by a signature Cloud Cocktail. Guests in the Business Class Lounge could also start their morning with an exclusive Cloud Omelette.
Most importantly, the campaign invited guests to become part of the celebration in their own way — whether by staying in one of the transformed rooms, enjoying High Tea beneath the installations or simply pausing in the lobby to look up.
While the main anniversary transformation concluded at the end of August, the limited-edition Cloud High Tea remains available at The Fax Bar until 30 September 2026.
