Tips for Making the Most of Your Concert Experience

Dress for the Weather
Whistler’s mountain climate can shift quickly. Warm, sunny afternoons often turn into cooler evenings. Dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the show.

Be Prepared for All Conditions
Rain or shine, the music plays on. Leave umbrellas and tents at home to keep sightlines clear and everyone’s experience enjoyable.

Bring Seating Essentials
Picnic blankets are perfect for relaxing on the lawn. If you’re bringing a chair, make sure it’s low-profile to avoid blocking the view for others.

A Family and Pet-Friendly Setting
Kids and leashed pets are welcome. Keep things low-key so everyone can enjoy the show in a relaxed, inclusive environment.

Think Sustainable
Whistler is known for its natural beauty, so let’s help keep it that way. Use reusable bottles, containers, and utensils, and pack out your waste if bins are full.

Dine Like a Local
Restaurants around the plaza often open early on concert days. Book a table or grab takeout before the music begins. Main Street also offers plenty of quick, delicious options.

Know the Rules
Alcohol and smoking are not permitted at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Let’s respect the space, the performers, and the community vibe.

Support Local and Be Considerate
Stop by a local shop, pick up snacks nearby, and always keep your dog on a leash.
