Embrace the Year of the Dragon with a Special Menu at Mott 32 Vancouver

Begin the Lunar New Year with an exciting start, filled with culinary blessings that symbolize good fortune and prosperity.

Year of the Dragon Feast

As we anticipate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon, the sole mythical creature in the Chinese zodiac representing power, nobility, honor, luck, and success, Mott 32 Vancouver is set to unveil an exclusive Lunar New Year menu. Crafted in collaboration between Mott 32 Group Executive Chef Lee Man Sing and Vancouver's Head Chef He Hong Wei, this limited-time menu is a thoughtful tribute to the auspicious year ahead, featuring dishes that embody traditional Lunar New Year blessings.

Mott 32, a multi-award-winning culinary concept by Maximal Concepts, serves as a modern testament to Hong Kong, seamlessly intertwining Chinese culture and philosophy with contemporary, generation-refined recipes. From February 9 to 24, Mott 32 Vancouver invites guests to partake in the festivities during both lunch and dinner services, choosing from à la carte options or indulging in an opulent set menu.

Reflecting traditional Hong Kong customs, the menu includes Lunar New Year essentials like Whole Lobster & Abalone (Lo Hei) Salad, Bird’s Nest in Supreme Soup, and the iconic Dried Oyster Bean Curd Rolls. Each of the eight carefully selected dishes on the special menu symbolizes aspects of good fortune, good health, luck, and prosperity for the upcoming year. To complement the dining experience, guests can pair the dishes with featured cocktails and wines.

The Dragon holds a significant place in Chinese culture, and the celebration begins on Lunar New Year Eve, February 9, concluding with the Lantern Festival on February 24—a joyous period that marks the commencement of an exciting year for Mott 32 and its global patrons.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2014 by Maximal Concepts, Mott 32 is commemorating its 10th anniversary this year. Vancouver, its inaugural North American venture, opened its doors in 2017. Notably, 2024, the Year of the Dragon, heralds a significant expansion for Mott 32, with two new locations slated to open in Toronto and Scottsdale.
