July

July 1: Walk off the Earth
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Foxy Moron), 7:30 PM (Walk off the Earth)
This summer kicks off with JUNO Award-winning, Canadian Indie pop band, Walk off the Earth. Walk off the Earth have headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Wembley Arena, sold out the Sydney Opera House, and notched a top-10 single in Canada for 30 straight weeks. The chemistry between band members Gianni, Sarah, and Joel is infectious and undeniable as they continue to exhilarate fans across the globe.

July 4: Aysanabee
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Peacefrog), 7:30 PM (Aysanabee)
Two-time JUNO award-winning alternative indie artist, Aysanabee is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and singer-songwriter. He is Oji-Cree, Sucker Clan of Sandy Lake First Nation, a remote community of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. With a swirling mix of indie, soul, and electronic sounds. Aysanabee made history as the first indigenous artist to win the JUNO Awards for Alternative Album of the Year and Songwriter of the Year.

July 5: The Sheepdogs
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Whitness), 7:30 PM (The Sheepdogs)
Canadian rock band formed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the Sheepdogs were the first unsigned band to make the cover of the Rolling Stone and have gone on to a career filled with platinum album sales and four Juno Awards.

July 11: Ibibio Sound Machine
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Doc Rhythmo), 7:30 PM (Ibibo Sound Machine)
Led by Nigerian singer Eno Williams, Ibibo Sound Machine combines African and electronic elements into a vibrant and infectious sound. Themes of unity, empowerment, and political consciousness run deep in their music, reflecting the band members’ diverse backgrounds.

July 12: New Breed Brass Band
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Vinyl Ritchie), 7:30 PM (New Breed Brass Band)
New Breed Brass Band’s sound, as showcased in “Made in New Orleans,” is a vibrant fusion of second line music deeply rooted in the rich cultural tapestry of their hometown. Infusing the rhythmic versatility of jazz, funk, and hip-hop with the soul of New Orleans’ street culture, they forge a path for 21st-century second lines.

August 8: Astrocolor
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza

Named instrumental Artist of the Year at the 2022 Western Canadian Music Awards, Astrocolor blend elements of jazz, psychedelia, and electronica – resulting in an experimental genre of their own called ‘AstroJazz.’ With over 10 million streams and national radio play in Canada, Astrocolor’s dynamic live performances have graced prestigious festivals worldwide and continue to push the boundaries of sonic exploration. With a guest performance by Kuba Oms, their Whistler performance will be one to remember.

August 9: The Suffers
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Soul Club), 7:30 PM (The Suffers)
Blending Gulf Coast Soul and socially conscious lyricism, the Suffers latest album “it Starts with Love” can be described as a fusion of 70s R&B, disco, jazz, and contemporary gospel.

August 15: Fort Knox Five
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (Dunks), 7:30 PM (Fort Knox Five)
Based in Washington DC, Fort Knox Five is known for fusing elements of funk, reggae, hip hop and electronic music. Founder DJ, and Producer Steve Raskin brings a rare Live Band experience to the West Coast, curating an all-star ensemble that combines DC roots with some of BC’s top talent.

August 16: Colin James
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza

With 20 studio albums, 8 JUNO awards, and induction into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame, Colin James is a Canadian music icon. Hailing from Saskatchewan, James’ musical style seamlessly blends blues, rock, and swing with an electrifying stage presence and unmatched talent as a guitarist and songwriter.

August 22: Trans-Canada Highwaymen
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Shotski), 7:30 PM (Trans-Canada Highwaymen)
The supergroup formed by Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Craig Northey (Odds) and Steven Page (Barenaked Ladies). Four guys who have known each other for decades after being all over Canadian rock radio in the 90’s. The Trans-Canada Highwaymen live show includes selections from their album Explosive Hits Vol.1 along with classic tracks from their individual bands that everyone knows and loves.

August 23: Ocie Elliot
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ LAZY FNGZ), 7:30 PM (Ocie Elliot)
Ocie Elliot, the Canadian folk music duo from Victoria BC consists of Jon Middleton and Sierra Lundy. With over 15 million streams and acclaim from American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine, and PopSugar, their gentle acoustic cords, gorgeous voices and lyrical eloquence are a testament to their sold-out shows.

August 29: Drag in the Mountains
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ Nat Morel), 7:30 PM (Drag in the Mountains)
Enjoy a family friendly night full of amazing drag performances! This year’s show includes stars from Canada’s Drag Race - Venus, Kendall Fender, and Synthia Kiss, alongside Vancouver’s Next Drag Superstar winner Androgynass and Genesis, Drag Derby winner Dolly H, Tiffany Ann Co, Bibi Souphresh, Batty Banks Hazel and more.

August 30: Boy & Bear with special guest Boo Seeka
Location: Whistler Olympic Plaza
Time: 6:30 PM (DJ LDA), 7:30 PM (Boy & Bear)
Boy & Bear are an Australian indie folk band with five consecutive top 10 albums and over 250 million streams. Their live show is a unique experience named one of Australia’s most outstanding live acts. Australian electro-pop star Boo Seeka opens for their North American tour and will join the show in Whistler this summer.

NEW: Sunday Sessions
This year’s Summer Concert Series will also feature local Sea to Sky talent with their new Sunday Sessions Lineup. Sunday Sessions will take place on August 4 and September 1 and will feature local musicians who reside along the Sea to Sky.
