5. APPLICABLE LAW AND VENUE
The Canadian courts at the seat of Paradox Hotels and Resorts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes in connection with these Terms and Conditions of Use. The foregoing shall however not deprive you of any non-waivable statutory venues granted to you by law. The Terms and Conditions of Use and all disputes arising therefrom shall be governed by Canadian law under the exclusion of its conflict of laws rules. Should you use this website for any purpose other than business use, the foregoing choice of applicable law shall only be applicable as far as it does not deprive you of the non-waivable statutory protections granted to you by the laws of your country of residence.
6. AGE RESTRICTION
Guests must be 25 years or older to secure a reservation and to stay in our guest room. If guests are below 25 years of age, they would need to be accompanied by an adult of 25 years of age or older.
7. DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY
We strongly urge all clients to purchase cancellation insurance, as there is no refund for early departures, weather conditions, illness or injury.
8. DEPOSIT POLICY
A credit card is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation. The full amount of room and tax will be charged two days prior to arrival.
9. TAX RATES
All rates are subject to an applicable 8% provincial sales tax, 5% GST and 3% municipal tax (combined total 16%) and are subject to change.
