Main Building Renovation FAQ

At Paradox Resort Phuket, we're embarking on a journey to enhance our main building. We understand that such changes may bring questions. This FAQ is designed to address any thoughts or concerns you might have during this transition. Every decision we make is with your comfort and experience in mind, and our dedicated team is always available to ensure your stay remains memorable and seamless.

Renovation Details

The renovation is scheduled to occur at some parts of the resort, commencing after February 10, 2024, with an expected duration of approximately eight months. Please be advised that this information is subject to further updates.

Noise disturbances from demolition are expected from around February to October 2024 with specific dates to be confirmed shortly.

Facilities Overview

Access to the Main Pool, Coconut Grove Pool, Saeng Chan Pool, MINT Bar & Restaurant, Karon Beach Square (Beachfront Dining Area), in-room dining, Fitness Centre, Kids Club, and Spa Services will be contingent on the progress of each renovation phase. The duration of each phase will be confirmed again.

The closure of each facility is contingent on the progress of each renovation phase as well. We will provide you with updated information accordingly.

Check-in & Check-out Process

The check-in/check-out lobby has been relocated to the Saeng Chan Building, date to be confirmed again for the relocation.

The guest drop-off area is situated at Karon Beach Road (Resort Beach Entrance). As for buses, they will also utilize the drop-off area on Karon Beach Road, near MINT Bar & Restaurant. Please note that there will be no parking available for buses, except in cases where they do not have guests, in which they may stand by in the main parking area.

Upon arrival at the resort beach entrance, guests will be transported to the lobby at the Saeng Chan Building via buggies.

Dining Information

Normally, breakfast is served at Pacifica Restaurant. However, during some phases of the renovation, breakfast will be provided at Karon Beach Square on the 1st floor. Lunch and dinner services will be available at MINT Bar & Restaurant, with the specific periods to be confirmed.

Pools and Amenities:

During your stay, three pools will be accessible, with the specific ones open depending on the ongoing renovation phase. The Main Pool, Coconut Grove Pool, and Saeng Chan Pool are open to all guests, while exclusive access to the Residence Infinity Pool is reserved for those staying in the Residence units. It's important to note that all pools will be open daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Yes, for some period of the renovation. We will keep you informed about the exact period once we get the confirmation. However, pool bar service will not be available when the main pool is closed. During that period, our Food & Beverage Attendants will be present around both pools (Coconut Grove Pool and Saeng Chan Pool) to provide requested services. Additionally, there will be a small bar at the Saeng Chan building near the Saeng Chan pool.
